Relaxing with some good cake

A morning date with coffee and some good cake—-love the sign—-doesn’t get much better than that. Well, it did a little bit because it was in what was essentially an open air treehouse with a stream running through the middle looking out onto a lush jungle with a river. I took a bunch of pictures, but none of them could really capture the uniqueness of it all so it is captured in my memory. I loved the space, would love to create something similar in Switzerland by mom and dad’s house. . .wonder how dad would feel about that?

They have delicious coffee here in Thailand. I had two. And, I swear I have seen my coffee cup and saucer for sale at Anthropologie.
