Things I am not loving so far in Japan

First, where are all the garbage cans?? I don’t even need a lot, maybe just one or two every couple of blocks??

2. Why is there some sort of sea creature flavoring in just about everything?

3 Where is all the fruit?? Well, actually we found the fruit but it was crazy expensive. Beautiful but crazy. There was a package of 9 beautiful strawberries at the fancy market (only place we saw strawberries) for $27. Yep, you read that right, not $2.70, $27. Grapes were another option—a small little bunch (beautifully packaged) for $18. Not happening. I did find an apple for $2 which was fine, Whole foods pricing.

4. Wow, there are a lot of people here and a lot of stimulation. It is like Times Square on steroids.

5. Missing my opportunity to buy Monchichis.
